We are pleased to announce that we have put in place  an anti-spam filter to help reduce the annoyance of unwanted spam solicitations. Although it  cannot catch all the spam since spam methods are constantly evolving, it will definitely reduce the amount. Ezpost clients are also welcome to send spam examples to  spam@ezpost.com. By sending in samples, it will help train the filters for us.

To reduce the occurence of false positives, we encourage our clients to register and logon at http://spamfilter.ezpost.com . This special  website will allow you to browse through the items that have been flagged as spam, and also release any that should be delivered to your mailbox.

We are pleased to announce that effective August 1, 2006, Chinook Webs and Ezpost Internet are merging their operations together under a new corporation Chinook Webs Inc.

As a result of this merger, Chinook Webs Inc., will solidify its leadership role in the Calgary web hosting market. Customers of the combined operations will enjoy greater technical resources and flexible enhanced service options.

Services include dedicated server hosting, shared hosting, Ecommerce and dial up Internet access. The company specializes in the Microsoft platform for delivery of hosted services including high performance database hosting using Microsoft SQL Server and ASP.Net.

In order to make the transition as smooth as possible, clients will see only minor changes in the administration of their account. Line items on credit card billings will appear as Chinook Webs rather than Ezpost.

Chinook Webs has been in business in the Calgary IT sector since 1992 and focused on web hosting since 2002. Ezpost has been in business as a Calgary based ISP & web host  since 1996, providing Internet Access and web hosting for the Calgary area. Ezpost has grown its web hosting client base mainly through present and past client referrals and endorsements.
